THE EMPTY MIRROR
Created for Gifts from Crows, 'The Empty Mirror' is a visual representation of the musical piece composed by Richard Laurence of the same name. 'The Empty Mirror' is one of the pieces Richard composed as a response to a photography series by Helena Whitten, and a collaboration between the two led to the return to Poltimore House, where the original photographs that inspired the music were taken. 'The Empty Mirror' and its sister piece, 'The Empty Mirror (Forgotten)', were both filmed in the building, allowing the project to come full circle.

THE EMPTY MIRROR (Forgotten)
Similarly to its sister piece, 'The Empty Mirror (Forgotten)' is a visual representation of the musical piece composed by Richard Laurence of the same name. As opposed to the continuous and building intensity of 'The Empty Mirror", 'The Empty Mirror (Forgotten)' is almost withdrawing in it's atmosphere, like a memory of 'The Empty Mirror' and the emotions it provokes.
